Learn Italian in Recanati
Recanati is located on a hill about 300 meters high in the Marche region of central Italy. The town is close to the Adriatic Riviera and the Conero regional park. It is just 8 km from Loreto, 12 km from the seaside resort of Porto Recanati and around 20 km from the provincial capital, Ancona.

School:

The school has long experience in teaching Italian language and culture to foreigners. It has the support of institutions and universities from all over the world. You will find a functional structure, the preparation of the teachers and the attention of our staff who are always available to help you, allowing you to live an unforgettable experience in an international environment and always be in touch with the Italian reality. The classes consist of 14-16 students, young people and adults. You’ll have a wonderful experience with our teachers, from whom you’ll not only learn Italian, but you’ll also get to know them:
Visit the most beautiful cities (Rome, Florence, Bologna, Rimini, Assisi, Venice, Siena, etc.).
Discover the characteristic landscapes of the Marche region, castles and towns with ancient history.
Taking part in typical shows, gastronomic events and folklore festivals.
Spend fun days by the sea and in the mountains.
Meeting Italian friends and university students.
Meet students from all over the world by taking part in school evenings (welcome cocktail, international dinner, evenings of Italian music and songs, end-of-term buffet).

Italian courses:

Mornings Monday to Friday from 9.15 to 13.15.
INTENSIVE ITALIAN LANGUAGE AND CULTURE COURSE: There are 80 hours of Italian courses in classes of 14-16 students of all ages. The young and well-trained teachers make the course effective and fun.

Afternoons
EXCURSIONS, CULTURAL CLASSES AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES: Excursions by coach to discover the beautiful old towns of the Marche region, castles, medieval villages, natural wonders such as the Frasassi Caves, the Sibillini Mountains, the Adriatic Sea and also visits to farms producing typical products such as wine, pasta, honey, sweets, cheese and cold cuts. Always speaking in Italian and accompanied by his teachers! Sports activities, language games and cultural lessons round off the afternoon’s wonderful experiences.

Night
Welcome cocktails, evenings of Italian music and songs, Italian movie nights. The welcome cocktail and the end-of-term buffet are just some of the activities the school organizes to make students’ evenings unforgettable. The best way to meet all your fellow students, but also to meet new Italian friends.

Weekends
With the school you can visit the most beautiful Italian cities: Florence, Rome or Venice, Bologna, Rimini, Assisi, Ancona, San Marino, Siena, Urbino, etc. Transportation and guide (teachers) included.

Free time
The program is full of cultural, entertainment, social, sporting and tourist activities that you can do in your free time. If, on the other hand, you want to manage your own time, you won’t have any problems in the city of Recanati. The city is quiet and welcoming, touristy and well-connected, and will give you a choice of activities, including restaurants. clubs and stores, without the need for any form of transport.

Accommodation:

The school offers apartments in the historic center of Recanati, located in the evocative setting of the 14th-century cloister of the Sant’Agostino convent, right under the bell tower that inspired Leopardi’s famous poem “The Lonesome Sparrow”.

Shared apartments in a double room (included in the package): The apartments have an independent entrance, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, TV, Wi-Fi connection, and the possibility of using the washing machine in the apartment or in the residence.

Accommodation with private bathroom or mini-apartment: For an additional fee, you can stay in single rooms (in an apartment with other students), independent studios (for 1-2 people), mini-apartments and hotels.

Excursions included in Italian courses:

The school offers 9 special excursions to visit Italy’s richest cities in terms of history, art and traditions. Through the cultural lessons given by the teachers, you’ll learn about the history of each city you visit.

3 full-day excursions to the most popular tourist destinations, such as Florence, Rome or Verona and Bologna.
6 half-day guided tours: Recanati, Loreto, Porto Recanati, Frasassi Caves, Assisi, Ancona, Villa Buonaccorsi.

Special events:

Every month you’ll take part in a special free Italian event to learn Italian in the most fun way. These visits are also guided by the school’s teachers and included in the fee!
